India announce their squard againts Australia :
KL Rahul to lead in 1st and 2nd Odi...
The Indian cricket team made significant modifications ahead of the next ODI series against Australia, according to the National Cricket Selectors. To ensure their physical and mental well-being prior to the ODI World Cup, the captain Rohit Sharma, legendary batsman Virat Kohli, and all-rounder Hardik Pandya have been rested for the first two ODIs. In their absence, KL Rahul has been tapped to lead the team. Off-spinner R Ashwin and spinner Washington Sundar have been added to the team, potentially as a backup plan in the event that Axar Patel, who is recovering from an injury, is unable to play. If Axar doesn't recover in time for the World Cup, Ashwin may play a role.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Washington Sundar, three newcomers, will play in the first two one-day internationals (ODIs), while the veteran trio of Rohit, Virat, and Hardik will play in the third ODI. Axar Patel's fitness will be checked by the selection closer to the third game.
