india's 5 highest wicket taker against australia

India's 5 highest wicket takers against Australia...

In order to fit the final pieces of the game together before the World Cup, the Men in Blue will now play Australia in a three-match ODI series.

In regard to this, let's look at India's top five ODI wicket-takers against Australia.

  #5 Mohammed Shami

Mohammed Shami, one of India's best pace bowlers, can win a game for his team on any given day and in any situation. Although he didn't participate in every Asia Cup match, he will be a crucial player for the home team against Australia and at the World Cup. In 21 innings, the fast bowler has taken 32 wickets at an average of 34.71, showing that he has generally enjoyed himself against Australia. His four wickets for 63 runs bowling performance against Australia is currently his best.

#4 Harbhajan Singh

The lanky off-spinner established quite a reputation in the 2001 Test series against Australia. He took great pleasure in the challenge presented by the Australians and continued to play well in limited-overs cricket.
Harbhajan Singh took 32 wickets at an average of 46.43 in 34 innings. He had an amazing economy rate of 4.63. He was constantly among the wickets even though he was unable to collect a five-wicket haul.
The greatest bowling performance by Harbhajan versus Australia was three wickets for 37 runs.

 #3 Javagal Srinath

A new age of pace bowling was established by Javagal Srinath, who was maybe India's fastest bowler at the time. He was the ideal replacement for Kapil Dev's well-known swing and seam. He was persistent and never gave up completely.
Srinath was the second-highest wicket-taker among Indian pacers in Test matches when he announced his retirement from international cricket in 2003, after an outstanding 11-year career.
His performance against Australia in ODIs was outstanding. In 29 innings, he took 33 wickets at an average of 36.78 and a 4.89 economy rate. His greatest stats were an amazing four wickets for 30 runs.

#2 Ajit Agarkar

Ajit Agarkar had all the skills necessary to succeed as India's fast-bowling all-rounder, but he never fully embraced the position. He got the appropriate mix of abilities and components but he was never the player he claimed to be.

Back in the day, Agarkar was the bowler to reach 50 wickets in ODIs the fastest. However, his batting performance collapsed, and all of a sudden, he was regarded as an expert in ODIs. His international career came to an end when he returned to the team for the England series in 2007.

Agarkar was a very effective wicket-taker for India with his quick run-up and whippy motion. In 21 innings against Australia, he took 36 wickets at an average of 28.41.Six wickets for 42 runs are his best bowling performance.

  #1 Kapil Dev

Kapil Dev, India's top all-around player and a match-winner, always saved his best performance for important events. He took 45 wickets in 39 innings while playing against Australia in 41 one-day internationals. His best stats were five for 43 runs, which included a five-wicket haul.

In One Day Internationals against Australia, Kapil continues to lead India in wickets taken with an excellent average of 27 and a thrifty economy rate of 3.47.
